Runny noses and Cakes

Ok so I think we'll run with this since we are used to telling people all about us! Since all the family left we've just been going through the motions. Some days we laugh and hoot, those are the days that Travis and I are on a kick of exercise and eat right. Other days we stare at the wall. Needless to say those are the days I eat a lot of Swiss Cake Rolls. I can say Lexi keeps us arunning. Preschool and gymnastics are fun to watch and she loves to go.

She has no school this week and we planned on hitting my parents house in Rhode Island with a vengeance but the Lexinator decided to get pneumonia. We just found out today and all that was said by the doctor seemed oh so familiar! Life is fun until until someone starts hacking up a lung. She might get herself an inhaler and everything.

We love all the support we've been getting from everyone. It's very comforting to know that people love us. For anyone that wants pictures or a copy of the slide show from the funeral please let us know. We are happy to spread Jacob's perfectness around.

Keep laughing everyone, it keeps the crazies out. Just remember we love everyone and can't thank everyone enough.

High fives for blogs--I’m glad we’ll still get steady updates on your fam! If I could give any counsel it would be to not get pneumonia. And add pictures of Lexi to the blog regularly. Hope Lex feels better pronto!

so, many months ago i suddenly made the connection that this girl named jackie who looked an awful lot like my friend jenn from ricks, miraculously had the same last name as my friend jenn from ricks. sorry it took me so long to connect with you... and please know that although we weren't officially reconnected, i knew about little jake and you were all in our prayers. i'm sure like many, i don't have a clue what to say except that you will remain in our prayers.

on a lighter note, how fun to find you after so many years. i found a picture of our trip to nevada with the two of us in it... so crazy how long ago that all was. anyway, i wanted to say hello! :) and welcome to the world of blogging. what a catastrophic time-sucker it can become. :)

This blog is a GREAT way to keep in touch!!!!

I hope you get better soon Lexi.

And YES I would LOVE to have pics of Jake and a copy of the slideshow. Since I didn't get the opprtunity to meet him in person, I dont have any of my own.
Amber and I are ALWAYS talking about Jake to anyone who will listen. The day after we got home, Amber and I burned a CD with songs that remind us of him. We also added pics of him on the cover and also on the CD lable. We listen to it as much as we can. It turned out GREAT!!! If ANYONE wants a copy of this CD or more info, let me know.
Also when we got back, we were looking at CDH websites. We found A RAINBOW OF HOPE that is selling CDH silicone wristbands that says CDH- FIND A CURE. Ameber and I bought some. We intend to tell everyone who will listen about "Our Brave Little Soldier"!!!

I love you guys. PLEASE let us know if there is ANYTHING we can do. And although I didnt get the honor of meeting Jake, know that I will NEVER forget him.
Lots of Love, Robin
