RICK- We hardly knew thee

Friday night was a special night. The night we added a new member to the Meyerson Clan.

RICK the Red Fish.

Here in chronological order is our adventures with RICK.

Friday- WELCOME HOME!! New aquarium. Too scared to eat. I can understand. Lexi sang to him for an hour. Then wanted to pray to him. That's right, TO him. whoa.

Saturday- Wake up to Lexi singing to Rick. Stare at him. Still didn't eat. Give the guy a break. His new home is HUGE compared to his ounce of water he had before.

Sunday- Still exciting but no more singing. Didn't eat. Hmmm....

Monday- "Mom, Rick looks hungry." "You are right, he does." Still doesn't eat. "Can Rick come to the mall?"

Tuesday- "Morning Rick.....uhh..." Belly up.

Tuesday- Take Rick back to store..."and please bring a water sample." "Yeah, we lost a whole shipment for bad water." Super great!!

I'm thinking goldfish, or maybe a sticker of a fish on the aquarium.

Speechless

My mom always said,

"If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all."

I don't have much to say, but I do have this...

Why does this picture exist you ask? No, no. The real question should be, why haven't I seen this sooner? Hope this brought the same feelings to you, that it brought to me.

P.S. We are doing fine.

Does anyone know these kids??

Children have obsessions, no? Currently these are Lexi's....

BustaRhymes

She wrote him a letter asking him to meet her at the cemetery. Completely normal.

Chasey Pot and TDizzle

Cousins Extrordinaire

Crickalick

this too

Last but not least....because a "baby lamb" came to her school today.

And apparently, it is supposed to be wearing a diaper.

Some day I'll post the video we took last night of her defining the difference between the pee dance and the #2 dance, cause there's a difference.

Officially Official

Some extremely good news here at the Meyerson Home!

We just paid off our last medical bill for Jake!

Considering how much the insurance paid what we paid is a hay penny, but it brought us to our knees non the less! I figured it all out that Jake's total came to about 7.5 to 8 million and that is just medical bills. I'd say it cost us about 100 million in emotional health dollars, but those don't really exist.

Tonight I shall be making hot chocolate and cookies in honor of this blessed event. We sure know how to live it up baby!! We are ROLLIN' in it!!!

Uh oh. The last picture I had might have been the wrong picture to use. I meant NOW we are so "rolling in it" that we can flush it, instead we just sleep on it.

Good Golly Miss Molly

Tiny Molly finally received her real name, Molly Sophia Wolfe. Apparently Lashonda was offensive to some. To those, I say, your name offends me.

Nick names for Molly too look forward-
#1 please see title
#2 Molly McButter
#3 Mollster
#4 Golly Molly
#5 Holy Moly (this is funny to me, maybe not you...but to me)
#6 Tiny Baby Tooter

I love Molly. She likes me the best and she has my Grandma Adeline's eyes. The ones that you feel like are looking into your soul.

Barbie and her True Self

Thanks Chase.

...In My Swimmin Hole

We finally decided to bite the bullet and put Lexer in some much needed swim lessons. For a little girl who is terrified to get her face wet in the shower, it's time to pull out the big guns. That's right, the YMCA to the rescue.

Her pal Cricket was in her class too...with no one else. Pretty much our own private swim instructor. Oh, don't you all have that?

Drum roll please.....Lexi put her face in the water!! Pretty sweet. Now, next we just need to work on not breathing WHILE her face is in the water. Baby steps.

WELCOME LASHONDA!!

My big sister had her baby today!! Such a precious little baby girl.

So far no name, so for now I'll call her Lashonda.

Congrats, Stace and Ben and congrats to Lashonda on making it down and being the first Dunlop niece in five and a half years. I'm already her favorite aunt, bar none.

Hidden Mickey?

Stace and Jess, can you find the hidden Mickey in this picture??

Cricket came for a sleepover extravaganza. Complete with jumping on the air mattress, staying up late and of course green pancakes. Cricket wanted green, I say give the people what they want.

Fun little toots.

Donna Pinnock Thornton

Travis' Grandma Donna passed away last night after some hefty medical trials. She fought for many many years and was finally able to go and leave every hardship behind. She deserves the peace.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to those who are grieving their loss.

Another successful day...

I would call today a complete success. Here are a list of reasons why.

Cute baby boy is now in his new home. CHECK

Lexi and I realized that Alvin and the Chipmunks is not the movie for us. CHECK

My child could be self sufficient, Lexi got all dressed up for her date with her papa. I personally think she looks like a million bucks. CHECK

Naturally, she chose of picture of Chase for her new bag.

I got a much needed nap. Let us double that CHECK

So no more of this.

Here's to January 2nd. The most successful day of this year.
