Made in China?

Travis and I got creative with Google Analytics. We set up something that tracks where people check our blog and it also tells us who has looked if you have signed in.

We've had one hit from...China.

A day to remember.

Well it's finally happened.

Mom. Dad. I don't know what it is about me getting things that were yours for a long time and as soon as I get them they die. First Bud. Now it's the toaster from the 1800's.

Instead of being sad, think of all the good food we had slightly toasted or burnt to a crisp.

Rest in peace little toaster you will surely be missed.

Maybe I'll get a four slot toaster! Imagine the possibilities!

Attitude anyone?

Lexi informed me last night, after fighting with me to leave the church, that she wants to live at the church all by herself.

Does anyone else think the church is a scary place when you are there all alone?

All I know is, when I'm there alone, I can't look over my shoulder enough.

Let's kick it up a notch

This one thinks she's pretty hot stuff with all her new soccer gear. The season is two weeks away and I actually can't tell who is more excited...Travis or Lex.

She thinks she's pretty cool.

I had to go with all pink. I know it's not practical, but get over it. She loves it and I'll be honest, I do too. I thought Travis wasn't going to let me but he searched the store to find it all without me even saying I wanted it!
She is so fun.

This "jumpolene" is where she gets sent if she's getting a little too sassy and needs to get some extra energy out. What I'm getting at is...she's on it all the time.
Dad and Lou make an ice man!

Instead of getting inches of snow, we got inches of ice. So they had to get super creative/creepy.

He's no longer with us.
Have a sunny week and remember to live it up. It could always get cold in a second!

South Beach Suspicions

Travis is making me. He's really pushing me to do it, and he's never pushed me to do anything like this. What is the message I'm to pull from it? Yes, I have a spare tire, but that's never affected him before. He's already lost some poundage from his diet. I think what I'll take from this experience...just call me TUNDRA.

If he has me start tanning and getting my nails done, then he's going through an early mid-life crisis.

Pray for me. It's not going to be pretty.

Is it ok to Idolize Little Debbie?

What a tough weekend. We are trying to not dwell on the dates but it's hard to not say...a month ago...

Lexi is having a really rough go suddenly. She needs the sun back too, that or a sane mother. So tomorrow I'm stepping it up a notch and we are gonna have a blast. Her dad is spoiling her and me at the same time. They are over at the big Chuck E Cheese. I asked for a present. I'm shooting for a wacky whistle!

I might even get out the DDR (sorry to copy you Becca but I have to be better than you) and work off those binge cakes. They just go down so good and what a way to go.

Thank you Little Debbie. Thank you little chocolate cakes with delicious creme rolled up into a two bite taste extravaganza.

I think I've funded her summer home.

One Month

One month ago today and look at us. We still have our sanity...mostly.

Thank you all for being so great.

Tyler calls her Loxi.

I had a dream last night that has royally messed up my day as a whole. The one where you wake up and have to talk yourself into reality again. I wish I could describe it the way it totally confused me. What I can say is it involves all the medical staff at the hospital all being actors and not really medical people. I just kept saying..."But you are all so good at IVs."

Can't WAIT for spring. I could just eat spring for dinner every night. We had the windows open and played at the park and everything. I can definitely say we lived it up! Snow tomorrow...maybe we can build a snowman. Look at me being all positive.

We've been working more on planning our exciting trip and had a bump in the road. We are going down to Florida for fun in the sun. We were going to hit Disney World for a day so Lexi can finally see that crazy castle that she is obsessed with but the plans that someone gave to Travis fell through. I was so excited for Lexi to go there. She has no idea it really exists. Hopefully we can go before she grows out of it. No need to feel sorry for Travis and I though...we are headed out on the Disney Cruise boat and we couldn't be more excited! We were so blessed with a gift from someone that has helped us to pay for the trip of a lifetime. Lexi will love it! My hands are sweating just thinking about being in the ocean far from land.

Can someone give me some grow up pills? I'm scared of the ocean.

Don't hate cause I'm eating ice cream.

I should be dieting and working out like crazy for our vacation and basically general health, yet I sit here eating ice cream with the Lou. Don't you judge me.

Our appointment went well with the memorial company. The cutest little old man helped us and tried to spend our money but in the end we got what we wanted. It takes about 8 weeks to do the whole process. Yes another industry I never knew about. "Gotta order it cut from the quarry." I can safely say I've never ordered from a quarry.

We decided to go nice cute instead of silly cute. The monkey and "Chunky Monkey" saying went out the window as soon as we thought of a train and "Our little engine that could."

This week is one month. Weird. It was a stable "getting worse everyday" until a few days ago and we've been happy as can be since. Thank goodness for eternal families. What I can say is...my kids are the cutest ever. Don't hate.

My sister Jackie put together a list of 100 things about me for herself. For those of you who have taken the time to read it, I hope you laughed because I'm not doing that. I thought of doing a list of 10 reasons I don't have a list like that. Then I got silly and decided to take a nap.

Have a happy day and remember to get in the sun for even 10 minutes. We watched "Superman Returns" last night. Apparently he gets his strength from the sun, so maybe you'll become a super hero.

Fun in the Sun

So I'm obsessed with being in the sun. As most of you know, not for skin reasons (it's hopeless), but for the fact that it feels like my soul is waking up. I feel like that every spring. We had a buddy over today with Lex. Her name is Hazel and she taught Lexi a thing or two. Hazel is number three of four children and the other three are boys. She rules the roost and Lexi isn't quite used to not being head cheese. It was quite entertaining. There was an issue over the Sleeping Beauty dress...Hazel won.

We are all feeling much better after our fight with the death bronchitis. No one at church believed I was sick when I went yesterday but if they had only seen me two days before. I thought it was the big one.

Our appointment with the memorial company is tomorrow to get Jake's stone. Never done this before but we decided to go typical Meyerson and make it original. Should be interesting.

Hope all enjoyed the sun.

Sharing the love

Lexi is doing well. She still sick but is still running me ragged. How does that happen? We spent yesterday at Aunt Cyd's house helping each other through a rough day. Baby Chase is having a good old time with his pneumonia and Tyler with his ear infection. Between the two families we are funding Target Pharmacy and the doctors student loans. Jessy and her kids all have strep and bronchitis. Seriously, we are never going to get them back out here.

Travis and I have booked a vacation that Lexi doesn't know about. What I can say is it involves Disney and those ridiculous "printhetheth". Those that know Lex know what that means. I do know that we need to bring the stroller because she may pass out when she sees "Cinderella's Castle." Thinderella'th Cathle. Try and say that 3 times. Princesses are pretty popular here in our house. Thankfully it's pretending and not her thinking she is one!

Snow hit us and it's been fun watching it. It's especially nice since we live somewhere that we don't have to get out and work. Hope everyone has a good shovel!

Runny noses and Cakes

Ok so I think we'll run with this since we are used to telling people all about us! Since all the family left we've just been going through the motions. Some days we laugh and hoot, those are the days that Travis and I are on a kick of exercise and eat right. Other days we stare at the wall. Needless to say those are the days I eat a lot of Swiss Cake Rolls. I can say Lexi keeps us arunning. Preschool and gymnastics are fun to watch and she loves to go.

She has no school this week and we planned on hitting my parents house in Rhode Island with a vengeance but the Lexinator decided to get pneumonia. We just found out today and all that was said by the doctor seemed oh so familiar! Life is fun until until someone starts hacking up a lung. She might get herself an inhaler and everything.

We love all the support we've been getting from everyone. It's very comforting to know that people love us. For anyone that wants pictures or a copy of the slide show from the funeral please let us know. We are happy to spread Jacob's perfectness around.

Keep laughing everyone, it keeps the crazies out. Just remember we love everyone and can't thank everyone enough.

Start of a new month....gotta be better than Feb!

Just testing out this new fangled blog stuff. The Carepages served it's purpose but it's time to move on the hipper lifestyles like blogspot.
