One Month

One month ago today and look at us. We still have our sanity...mostly.

You know...I don't think I have ever met a stronger person in my life. You are amazing Jenny! As I look at the picture of Jake with his HOPE statue I can't help but think that he wants you to be happy and not sad today...just a thought. Luv ya

Sanity is over rated anyway...just look at Michael Jackson. He hasn't been sane for years and yet he still rakes in the big bucks. It's all about perspective. :)

We can't beilieve its been one month. Sometimes we feel he has been gone longer but most of the time we feel he has been gone so much shorter. We think of you and pray for you all continually still. Robin and I play the CD of songs that remind of of Jakey all the time. We take it to G-ma's and let her listen to it and she smiles. We still miss Jacob but we are glad that you are all doing well. We love you, love the Thorntons.

You are in our hearts and our prayers. Keep doing what your doing. Life will get easier. Have you guys gotten a "sign" from Jake yet? Many times when we lose loved ones they send us a message. Some are as simple as a cardinal landing on a fence. Perhaps lingering longer than usual. I hope Jake sends you lots of kisses. I am forever changed for meeting the four of you! God bless.
