Constant Motion

We have been very busy this past weekend! I have to admit, it was a really good weekend!!

Friday after Austin left Lexi and I decided to follow Trav into the city for some new scenery. He was working at the New York office on Saturday and the company put him up in a hotel. After roaming the city and taking in the wonder of NYC at night-including walking past a true crime scene complete with 5 foot puddle of blood, empty shoes and clothes. We literally ran through FAO Schwartz, 15 minutes before closing time. Met some British tourists that were just scouting out "celebrities." (No, they weren't interested in me, however glamorous I am.) We headed back to the hotel for some rest and relaxation on the 23rd story.

Wonder how many feet have been on that piano.

Pepto room and the Helmsley Park Ave.

Now THAT is luxury accomodations.

Saturday, Lex and I mastered the train back to Princeton and hit the hottest party this summer, leaving poor Travis to work until late. The Barnos hosted the ultimate Philadelphia Extravaganza party. Rita's waterice, soft pretzels and Tastykake filled our souls while the wildest wiffle Ball teams were duking it out. Some people were graceful and some people will be remembered as making fools of themselves. I walked away with more than just a knee injury but it was all done in the name of FUN. Thank you Barnos! It was a blast.

Saturday night and Sunday we were pleasantly surprise with a visit from Uncle Derek. Trav's brother is a coach to the Mercyhurst College water polo team and was at Princeton University for a tournament. I recall hearing him say this, and I quote, "I was like, hey I think I have a brother here in Princeton or something." Classic Derek. Lex and cousin Tyler watched the last five minutes of one of the games and were very concerned that someon threw a polo ball up onto the diving board. D-Boe came over for breakfast on Sunday...breakfast burritos. A few antacids later and Derek was gone.

We suggested maybe getting larger suits for the fellas. Saw too much of the team, know what I mean?

It's always good to see that fool.

Church was uplifting, even the part where my Sunbeams informed me that my teeth look dirty and that I need to brush them. They then made up for it when I was told I am the only girl allowed in their club. After as many times a Sunday that I hear, "No girls allowed" that was a compliment.

What I felt like after our "Love One Another" lesson. Kinda blew up in my face, wouldn't you say? Gotta love 3-4 year olds.

Dinner and and a total domination at Settlers at the Barnos I was ready to go home and sleep the night away.

Hope you are all well and may you all go brush your teeth, cause you aren't going to make with the way kids are today.

I hope it was not my child who told you that your teeth were dirty. I mean, I would HATE to learn that he is actually repeating the things that we say at home! Boy, that would be embarassing!

at least the kids in your class don't whip IT out during their no girls allowed parties - that counts for something, right?

seriously jen, those teeth? that's taking things a little to far, no? i firmly believe that people should keep their own nasty teeth to themselves, much like some other body part i can think of...

It's been a while since I've seen you. Maybe you haven't brushed since then. Try to remember.

There are so many good things about this post that I feel overwhelmed. So I shall only comment that at least Lexi's feet basically touched Tom Hanks'. That's something for the journal.

Looks like you guys had a blast. You know I used to play water polo when I was a freshman in high school. Now THERE's a scary visual for you. Almost as unsettling as those teeth.

We have a rule at our house. NEVER SHOW STACEY PICTURES, ESPECIALLY THE "BEFORE" or "DURING" PICTURES, OF TEETH. I don't find them interesting. I only find them gross regardless of their state, healthy or not. I was a bit confused as to whose blog I was on at first. So thank you, thank you for breaking the rule and helping me create a new rule. Never put a mental picture of men in speedos in my poor wasted brain. YUK!!! I have issues with men in sweatpants and this only takes it many steps further.

Would you like some bleach too? Jess and Cyd already requested. We can have a bleaching party at Jess'. Love ya!
