In mid Sept. I finished a puzzle. 1500 pieces mind you and thanks to Sister Spilker my brain is forever seeing legumes.
I hit the streets of Rhode Island with my favorite lady. Momma Dunlop. Lexi took a turn at the camera.
There was a whole lot of dressing up in the same clothes I used to dress up in. Some...I still fit in, barely. Lexi chose to wear this little red number pretty much everyday.
Rhode Island's #1 yard-love being there. The house in one word? Serene. Grandma was guiding Lex to a green thumb way of life.
I was able to go to the temple for the first time since before I was pregnant. We are talking years here people. The Boston temple-a sight for sore eyes or hearts.
Next stop...Lexi Lou's Fifth Birthday Week. The fun never ended.
What can make a birthday even more special, you ask? Sitting in the car for 4 hours. We drove back to the armpit of America/The Garden State, you choose. I twisted Grandma Joyce's arm to come home with me. We made it special by saying things like, "Look Lexi. Those are birthday balloons for you!"-to the weather balloons and "A Birthday Elf!" to the Keebler Elf on the side of a truck. We hit the "blue playground" park for a family party.
We hit the Philadelphia Zoo with a friend/one of Jakey boy's nurses. Miss Freakin Fanelli. What a hoot. You can pretty much guarantee there was a lot of animal calling. The only person who got in trouble was Grandma Joyce. A gorilla tried to slap her in the face. Thank goodness for five inch thick glass.
They were doing a documentary on the three tiger cubs that were born three months ago. We happened to be standing there while they were interviewing and feeding the little ones. Big momma came over and stole the show. It was still a once in a lifetime thing! How often have you been 5 feet from 4 tigers?
Couple of things...recently my sister, mother and brother-in-law posted some sensitive information of my recreational life. Aka..I like to dress up. I've vowed revenge. At this point I will be burning Phil. Last week he decided to punch a hole through the ceiling in his newly finished kitchen. He re-created the scene for us at our house and Travis, the genius he is, caught it.
Last on the list...the birthday party of the century. Le Doble. Tyler and Lexi's Pirate/TinkerBelle Party. 11 kids. 6 sets of wings, 5 eye patches.
One treasure chest pinata, one sweet scavenger hunt, and two cakes later....this party is marked as a complete success.

Jenn, you look amazing! One work...beautiful!
Miss your guts :)
September was truly a good month! Love all the pics, and I love that you completed a 50 million piece puzzle full of beans.
PS- That red little number was first Stacey's outfit for some dance group or something, and then my cheerleading costume (notice the G sewn on for Glencoe) one Halloween when I decided the day of that I didn't want to be a cheerleader. Lucky mom.
Love you guys!
OOOOOOOOOOh it was a G! We were wondering and Lex just looked at us and said..."Duh-It's a whale."
