Let's just start by saying. Lexi and my nephew Tyler are obsessed with a little movie called "Night at the Museum."
So we adventured to the city and hit up the Museum of Natural History of America yesterday and it was safe to say that amazing and crowded are understatements! Apparently since the movie, the museum has become quite the hit, and going on a Saturday is borderline insanity.
New Jersey Transit has a lot to offer. Especially when the other half of your group has some trouble. Please see their blog, I'm sure they'll give a nice rendition.
Cyd and Travis affirming that they really are married while having death grips on the children at Penn Station. While Phil, off to the left, looks like he has recently watched "The Ring."
The things we had to look for from the movie-Atilla the Hun, Rexy (the T-Rex) and the Easter Island Head. Report. Atilla was no where to be found in the "Asian Peoples" corridor. Do not worry. We did find a gentleman that was wearing a silk robe and Tyler now believes that is Atilla in his pajamas. The Easter Island head was also no where to be found in the gigantic maze and the kids pooped out on us.
I'm not one for putting pictures of myself, but I like my sister. So here's proof.
It was great to see all the different exhibits and feel like we are appreciating some of the culture of the world, but I'll be honest, going home and changing clothes after hitting the subway all day-priceless.
Oh, and if you think three bottles worth of water and one of formula completely emptied into my bag and then into the stoller, you would be right.

Me want gum gum wasn't there?? Oh well, still looks like it was a heck of an adventure. I mean, Atilla in his PJs?? Now that's something!
(PS- I'm jealous you're close enough to NYC to do a day trip... sigh...)
Germs Rock! That looks like so much fun! We are loving that you were able to go to see THAT museum! How cool is that?! I love that dino and wondered if anything came to life while you were there? Glad you guys were able to go do that.
Ummm - it's "don't CRY over spilt milk", not "don't PASS OUT....."
I'm sorry, I can't believe you didn't search-til-you-drop for the gum guy. Let's go back!
Very fun!! I can only imagine the laughs y'all have over the pj guy. Who's idea was that wonder???? Glad you made it home safely.
Awesome awesome. Sounds like you guys had a lot of fun. You two really do crack me up. but, I am sure a few people in our ward are wondering who is really married to who and the whole family dynamics there...
Trav, I've been meaning to tell you Doug is so jealous of your facial hair he could cry. The second he quits the MTC and graduates the BYU, the games will begin. He shall turn to you for inspiration.
