Oh, you can totally kill a plant too. Just ask the plant cemetary on our back patio.
And don't let the lady at the plant store sell you a you-can't-kill-this-even-if-you-try cactus, because you can totally give it too much water and watch it die from a killer mold attack.
But back to the fish. Have you tried betas? We have a beta, Sir Theodore McGillikins, and we forget to feed him days at a time and forget to change his water weeks at a time and he's still going strong. Food for thought. (Or in Sir Theodore's case, NO food for thought. Badabing!)
Seriously, you are so funny with these fish posts! I love this whole story - all good things to know. Sad for Lexi fish won't survive long term. There's always a bird, tarantula, a bunny - so many options! ;)
I hear Uncle Lee may send a little something to care for! I hope he does...it would only be fair. The nice tarantula he got me was such a lovely gift don't you think? Just imagine it crawling all over!
Love you story telling. We grew grass in a tin can last spring. Marlee thought it was great, and enjoyed "mowing" (cutting with scissors) it every week or so.

Wow, good luck with the plant. I have brown thumbs, so don't let me get near it. I kill them all!
Good words of wisdom.
