I smell....Jealousy?

I hate to put you all in a jealous rage but....

My parents are moving to Gardendale, Alabama this week.

They done sell their house and are fixin to leave on Saturday.

Their house is a slight fixer upper - nothin the pops can't handle.

This is what I have to look forward to when I visit.

Gulf Shores...HERE WE COME BABY!

I can't tell you how much I'll miss my Rhode Island retreat in the woods. My whole family has such wonderful memories there. I will mostly miss my mom and dad's faces. I hope the week starts going smoother momma and papa. Thanks for living so close to me and for all your help...

Though..we do have this to look foward to.

Admit it, you are all green with envy.

I admit it, I'm jealous. Can I come visit those Gulf Shore Beaches? They look nice and warm. I think Josephina (again the spelling on her name?) will fit in wonderfully!
P.S. Will you let Josephina know that I can talk to goats. I just learned of my talent over the weekend. My boys couldn't believe it! ha ha

ummmm I don't appreciate the way you are making fun of the Wonderful place mom and dad are moving...kinda rude Jen! There are lots of great things about Alambama.

Okay...shut up jerks...so I can't freakin spell Alabama. Get over it...that is where I gots me educa-tion for a few yers and I ain't sure it helped. We also only had 4 mormons in the whole school and you know that went over well. I also had a perm and brightly colored pants that helped me blend in so well. Let's just say when people asked me if my dad had horns on his head in class one day I knew I had finally fit in!!!

Well y'all we survived it once and we'll survive it again. What are they suppose to be learning . . . RI, Poland and now Alabama? What have they done to deserve such cruel and unusual moves?

My fond memories of Bama...
1.Fat boy in my class who lived in the trailers across from the school wearing no shoes.
2.History teacher explaining that the South sort of won the war. We didn't really lose.
3.Slave cemetery next to our neighborhood.
4.Go back, go back go back into the woods. Your momma chews tobacco and your team aint no good. High school football chant. Seriously.
That's all I can think of.

Cyd...I just laughed hard on the football chant. I have said that many times throughout my life!

Who got the nail stuck in their foot when we hiked out to the old slave house? Grandpa Marron was with us, was it him or mom? I just remember there was a swimming hole there and it reminded me of the boxcar children.
