With the March for Babies coming up this weekend we've been thinking about Jake quite a bit and we've finally decided to do something that has been on our minds for a long time.
When you lose someone you love, in the beginning every tiny memory that pops into your head turns around to bite at your little pee pickin heart. Eventually you have to stop yourself from rethinking everything for the sake of your own sanity. Then you look back after a year and say...crapola, I'm forgetting everything.
This is where all of you come in. We would LOVE it if sometime you could sit and write down some of your favorite memories with our little tiny boy. We are making a book of all the letters we hopefully get so we can read them whenever we need a dose of Jake.
If you know someone that doesn't read this blog and you know they were in love with Jacob as well, please ask them to do it too. I want every memory I can get my hands on.
We would really appreciate the time you take to do this and we love you all very much.

what a great idea jenn! i hope you get flooded with stories. we did this for burton's grandma when his grandpa passed away and it was so fun to read everyone's stories.
since i don't have any memories with little jake... would a really crappy picture of us in las vegas back in 1999 be sufficient? ;)
Janaya. Any pictures from our adventure would totally suffice. Simply to see how totally white I was....and still am!!
Done and Done! I am glad I was finally able to see this. I miss this sweet little boy!
We're all working on it here in Utah! We all have sweet memories of our special boy in the Meyerson household.
I think that the letters are a wonderful idea. The Thorntons all wish we had memories of him.
Oh gosh, what a great idea. I so wish I could help you out. Maybe I could come up with something that Jake and Drew have done together. Good luck with the March of Dimes. I wish I could be there to walk with you guys. I would in a heartbeat!
