Portrait of a Bowler

Saturday morning brought with it sunshine and an overbearing need to go bowling.
After posting my need on Facebook we rounded up a few troops and hit the Colonial 64.

Introducing the 64
She looks condemned from the outside.
It's awesome.

We'll start with the two child portraits I have.

Lexi Lou
Going for it granny style

Tyler B.
Look at the concentration

Phil
Reflective lightening bolt clothing is apparently "in"
Also proof that Kristin was there.
She somehow evaded showing off her skill en photo.

Matt
aka Dr. Herpes
(but he doesn't like being called doc)
He slammed the rest of us this day.
Next time, doc.

Mark
Played approximately 47 games this day
I have a really great picture of him
I'm bound by some internal struggle to not post it.

No pictures of my husband.
Someone felt the delete button was for him to be in charge of.

I started off strong, channeling my Ricks College skills.
And quickly ended up making this face every time.
Shame Jenn. Shame.
Plus Ty in the back is pretty classic.

My two favorite pictures for the day must be these.

Amy
I can't even describe how I feel.
Bowling has never looked so easy.

Cyd
I mean look at the form.
She has bowler in her blood.
Through and through.

Thank you 64.
For your random reset when the ball is pummeling forward.
For looking like you were built in the 70's.
For smelling like you should have closed in the 80's.

First off, I deleted nothing. You obviously find your husband too hideous and fat to photograph.

Secondly, my favorite part of the first photo is Josiah hiding among the bowling balls. He looks like a little chupacabra with the glowing eyes.

Ahh, the 64. I will never forget you. This might be one of my favorite posts that you have written. Classic.

my favorite part of the first picture (besides the little chupacbra) is cyds baby belly hanging over her pants. i'm sorry cyd, i know it's a baby, but it makes life seem a little bit better for even the shortest of moments.

Those were great. I must admit I was very scared going into that joint, but it served us well. I feel pressure to write something witty, but honestly right now I've got nothin...

Personally I don't think a bowling alley is real unless it should be condemmed!! Those make the best ones. Love all the "form" pix. And how was that score of yours anyway?
