independence
happiness
Kindergarten
self confidence
understanding that a mom can be a beast and there is a REASON for it
extreme love for her parents
doing real chores
loves entertaining little kids
First ballet
Entertaining Chaser
This age brings me:
happiness
joy
relaxation
less chores
more time having fun rather than being on "mom duty"
less time entertaining little kids
doing stuff with her that I like to do ALSO
basically more of this...
Lexi pretty much rules these days.Except when she doesn't.

Seriously, if my girl is one tenth as cool as Lex, I will be set for life.
I think you can be pretty certain that Lex is going to get up with baby Lucy in the night, so you don't even skip a beat. Between her and Travis you'll be getting more sleep than ever. Actually, can I borrow her for a few weeks? My Lucy would love to have a big girl to play with, and it sounds like the girl can run a vacuum.
Oh good - we only have 13 days left of 5.
Just think in another 6 years you get to do it all over again with Lucy!!!!! By then Lexi will be 12 and maybe 12 is twice the fun of 6.
