Believe it or not going to the doctor to get checked out and him saying "You are in labor, go straight to the hospital," really happens. It can also happen two and a half weeks early. So keep up the hope ladies. It happens, and when it does.

My sister Cyd saved the day since The Luce came early. This is what having three kids and a baby, a contractor at the house and many other things to do in one day. One of those things included scrubbing the children after drawing all over each other. Super fun. This is how she looked afterward.
My mom dropped what she was doing (including the last week of teaching seminary) and flew up. She is the best!
My dear friend drove hours just to see us for minutes.

She is breathtaking, and I don't mean that in the bad way. What a beauty! Lex looks like an old pro--this is going to be smooth sailing. Also, just tell Trav what our basketball coach told us in third grade: no one likes a ball hog. Obviously you would substitute the word baby for ball, or it is not applicable at all.

Lucy = approx. 1/2 PG's birth weight, and spent 27 days less in the womb than PG. She's darling, but I slightly resent her.....or maybe I resent my own child.....

She is adorably precious! Love that she looks just like Lexi and love that Lexi adores her. We may just have to plan a trip to NJ sooner rather than later to meet this cute little thing.
