It being Jake's birthday week-we decided to throw a party at the Emergency Room at the University Medical Center of Princeton. Austin got hit pretty badly with asthma issues and was not breathing well so off for eight hours of pure fun. After five heavy duty breathing treatments, steroid shot, X-ray showing his pneumonia and the last minute pediatrician saying I've changed my mind we aren't admitting him (whom I could have just hugged her for doing so)...we finally left the car accident teen who was screaming and ripping her fresh cast off over and over. I'll miss her.
We came home to a 104.7 degree Lexi and a really, really clean house (mom-you rock)threw her in the cold tub and watched her temp rise. Party time at the ER again?! No. You thought I would say yes?
I couldn't be more thankful for my mom who saved the day. She was with Lexi all day and even delivered the missionaries food for me. My house is now spotless-the best it has looked in ages. My big sister Cyd came over and helped ReJoyce make dinner whilst I sat looking stoned from my cold meds. It doesn't stop there either. My visiting teachers kept a close eye on us and had many a friends send cheer. Thanks to you all!
Here's to a better Thursday!

Moms and sisters are the BEST!!
I wish I had a sister and mom like that...
whoa wait! I do!
I love our family!
Wow, You guys sure know how to PARTY!! I'm glad your mom and sister were there to help!! Let us know if we can do anything.
I just don't understand why Trav didn't choose to get a fever or asthma or something, you know, just to fit in.
Hope you're all doing better! High fives to an awesome fam!
Holy crap, Jenn!!
I don't know how you do it! :)
Alison
You forgot to mention Lexi burning her fingers on a hair straightening iron that was somehow left on all day. (I guess she won't do that again!) After blood curdling screams until 1:00 a.m., she finally slept. She got up in the morning and said it didn't burn anymore! Yes, Hannah, she hurt our ears.
wow you guys get down! Austin sounds like he partied like I did at that age! Teach him to choke and throw up on the triage nurse and he will be admitted in a heartbeat! That is TRIED and TESTED!!!
Love, M
WOW!!! I just came back from my friends birthday party. I thought I had fun with just a few presents, music, dancing, cake and icecream. Reading about the party you had and almost had in the ER sounds much more fun!!! I wonder how far in advance you need to book a party??? JUST KIDDING!!!
I really hope you have a better week this week.
HA! I just read mom's comment about hurting your ears... oh just wait until Hannah has kids!!
