'Twas The Night Before November First

Supposedly a new post is in high demand due the nature of the previous posted picture. I say buck up, but you gotta keep your people happy.

To get a great idea of our Halloween...the best would be to start with my friend Amanda's Blog. She summed it up quite nicely.

We copped out on carving a pumpkin at first and bought this.

Princess of Pumpkins saved my stomach from the sight of the stringy mess inside her.

The trunk or treat was a hit. I actually got my husband to dress up. Let's just say he's a dude from South Philly or just Uncle Phil's true self. Please notice his sweet tats. E-A-G-L-E-S.

I would love to show off adorable pictures of Braydenmeister, but me being only his foster mom...I'm sure the agency would tar and feather me. Just rest assured, his cow costume was equal to his cuteness.

After hitting the lamest party at the library, yet with good company, we decided we need a little more "Halloween" fun than...a small suck candy being the "big treat." We bought another pumpkin to carve. Yes, I decided to cowboy up and scoop 'er out.

What do I like about this picture? My hot clean kitchen and the last little morsel of a paper towel.

Then we brought said punkin to Jakey Pot Pie's "special spot" at the cemetery.
(Sorry to bring it down a notch)

Trick or Treating with the Barno Bunchers and the Sherwood Forrests was super fun. Gotta love them kiddos.

Hope all had a happy holiday and start with the exercises. That candy isn't going to eat itself.

Yay!! I was hoping to see them all in their get-ups together.

Those pumpkin designs have moved and inspired me (Mrs. Potato Head? Pure genius!), and I'm glad you brought one to the Jake-meister's "special spot."

Oh, and Trav's tats also move and inspire me. And make me want to throw up.

Hey, did you notice Tiny Aller was a cow too?! Great minds think alike. Except you and Trav weren't the cowboys from Brokeback Mountain... so I guess great minds do get different ideas sometimes.
