What's happenin?

Bringing our Teeny One Home

Most people have blow up Flamingos named Minnie waiting.

Miss Lucy was small and got even smaller her first week. She lost a few ounces and her doctor set her a goal of gaining an ounce a day. She has surpassed that and is now filling out quite nicely! I wouldn't call her porky just yet, but we can only hope. She also couldn't hold her body temperature up on her own. She was cold all the time so she was bundled up like we lived in Antarctica.

She is now only wearing one hat and one blanket instead of multiple.

See all the success??

She is also wearing skirts now.
My friend Kristin created this little number for her (including a match for Lexi).

Ok, just this one, plus she's wearing it over warm clothes.
It was Memorial Day.
Anything goes on Memorial Day.

She's decided to start experimenting with hairstyles.

Then she remembered she was practically bald.

Yet cute.

My mommsy and popsicle left today.

I can't thank them both enough for EVERYTHING.
Miss your guts already.

Next post - our adventures with them, the Barnos, Aunt Jack and Uncle Dougalsworth.

I can't get over this cute little face! Her eyes open and all - I could just eat her up! (she is the size of a ritz bitz cracker and cheese ya know)! Love her fancy skirt and her fancy headband! She is so fashionable for 2 1/2 weeks of age!

Love you Lucy Goosey!

The picture with the hat didn't look like a hat to me at first...I thought you'd bought a red wig for her and I thought to myself, that's strange. I thought Jenny thought redheads were gingers who steal people's souls...

Oh no, Jodi!! Don't worry, I still think that.

I have never, no not once, received a welcome-home blow-up flamingo. Color me jealous.

P.S. Holy CRAP, that's a cute baby! Perfectly squeezable! (Tiny, gentle squeezes, of course.)

Umm, maybe I am retarded, but I can't seem to see any of your text. Is it just me? All I see is green and then a small amount of text shows up in a little box that is white.
