Calling all Graduates

She's done. Preschool Graduation has come and gone without a hitch...unless you count that the teacher's husband snuck into the fridge and ate some of the dip for the reception and then was rushed to the ER with food poisoning...talk about a blessing in disguise. Again, that's only if you count that.

Lexi was adorable. Absolutely adorable. She was presented with the "Delightful Award." They were asked to dress up in customary clothing from their heritage. Thankfully I just happened to have a Scottish kilt, who doesn't.

During the graduation Travis and I decided she needed to stay at the Pirate Preschool one more year. We are happy to say Lexi's teacher accepted our verbal application right away. Heck, who wouldn't take her back?! I mean LOOK at her!? So now Kindergarten is delayed one more year. I'll be honest...I'm relieved!

Have a happy summer everyone!!

OK, so my favorite part is in the first video when Lex shows her complete embarrassment while Jenn whispers, "Go Graduate!". Just wait until you're 15 Lex, just wait...

Is she delightful or WHAT?? She looked very grown-up and professional--no goofing around at her big graduation! This is serious!

And I did notice what Becca saw... Lexi trying to play it cool like all the other 4 year olds, and wishing her mom would do the same. Awesome.
